Hello world!

And welcome back to Zakimus.com! With the news out of There.com, this has been a troubling time for all of us. I’ve met some of the best friends in my life out There and I’ve found my home online, loosing this is not far seperated for me from loosing like your childhood home.  I haven’t been on playing too much lately, we have all gone through our phases on again and off again and with everything going on IRL I haven’t had much time to be on.  It’s going to be sad to see it go although we will keep in touch with those friends we’ve made we won’t continue to have the times we once did wether it be on Second Life, Blue Moon, or anywhere else we’re flocking to these days.  I’ve decided to keep the downloads page up for the time being and for a while after There.com closes its doors for good mainly out of sentiment but partially in the hopes we will see this once great World powered on and back to life again one day.

Now for the news about Zakimus.com.  In the recent weeks / months I’ve been in talk with a couple friends of mine about starting up with Podcasting.  For those of you who don’t know Podcasting is an online subscription to an audio or video based program, think of it as talk radio via the internet but not quite as boring and usually much more relavant to yourself based on what you subscribe to.  We will be launching these through iTunes and the Zune store in the comming weeks.  There are two shows in the works so far, Zed Nation hosted by myself and most of you will know him as MrFuzz from There.com, and Random In Nature with myself and a friend of mine I met through the Abducted Clan (http://www.clanabducted.com/) named Eddy.  Zed Nation will be covering various tech news and general news of the week or month depending on how often we can manage to crank these out but not limited to JUST news and tech related matters.  We often found ourselves staying up well past sunrise talking about everything under the sun so im sure we can get together a one hour show once a month.  Random In Nature is almost self explanatory, me and Eddy discussing pretty much whatever comes to mind hence the name Random In Nature.  I’ll keep dropping more information off as we get everything rounded off and going here but check back OFTEN because we’re going to be moving at a rather fast pace once this all gets going.
